Avera Specialty Pharmacy
Avera Specialty Pharmacy helps patients and providers access specialty medicine for chronic, rare or complex conditions beyond what a traditional pharmacy can provide. Pharmacists work alongside care teams to coordinate prescriptions, serving the medication needs of patients in South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, Arizona, Texas and Florida.
Services for Supporting Patients
To enroll, simply ask your physician to phone, fax or e-prescribe your prescription to Avera Specialty Pharmacy. Hearing, language and financial assistance are available — to request these services please contact the pharmacy.
- Call 711 (or 800-877-1113 from outside South Dakota) for Telecommunications Device for the Deaf (TDD) and Teletypewriters (TTY) services. Simply request the state Relay and their staff connects you to the Avera Specialty Pharmacy.
- 24-hour patient and physician support available by calling this pharmacy.
