What to Expect at Your Consultation
A cancer expert will look carefully at your medical history to determine the best course of action before meeting with you. During your second opinion appointment, you will have the opportunity to:
- Ask questions about treatment options.
- Speak with members of your care team, including a social worker, genetic counselor, clinical-trial expert, dietitian, among others.
- Understand your personalized treatment plan.
- Determine next steps on moving forward.
A social worker or nurse with the Navigation Center will contact you in two business days to connect you with a clinic.
