IORT TherapyIntraoperative radiation therapy (IORT) works by delivering a mobile linear accelerator with a high dose of electron-based radiation to the tumor site in 1-2 minutes during a lumpectomy surgery.

CAR T-cell TherapyCAR-T cell therapy uses a patient’s modified t-cells to find and fight cancer cells. It can help high-risk, relapsed patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, multiple myeloma or acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Blood & Marrow TransplantsAvera is home to the region’s only blood and marrow transplant program. This is an effective treatment option for certain cases of leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma.
