Finding Us: This clinic is located on the Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center campus near 21st Street and Cliff Avenue. Due to on-campus construction and some road and parking lot closures, we recommend you allow extra time to get to your destination. Patients visiting clinics in Plaza 1 can use the surface parking lot adjacent to the building or use the valet service at the entrance. For additional parking, it’s best to access the free ramps via 20th Street, go to street level, and take outdoor sidewalks south to Plaza 1 (10th Avenue sidewalk to the east of the construction site). Please reserve the surface lot for Plaza 1 and valet for patients with limited mobility only. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. See the latest map and construction updates.

Our providers are fellowship-trained and board-certified to provide the highest level of expertise, so you’re empowered to understand your options and make the best choices for your family.

Local Maternal Fetal Medicine Services 

Maternal fetal medicine is a subspecialty of OB/GYN that focuses on high-risk pregnancies. We care for expectant mothers who may have a history of pregnancy loss, premature labor, previous pregnancy complications or special health concerns such as diabetes and high blood pressure.

High-Risk Pregnancy Services

Our clinic provides:

  • Office consultations
  • Management of high-risk pregnancies
  • Genetic counseling
  • First trimester screening for aneuploidy
  • Prenatal diagnostic testing:
    • Chorionic villus sampling (CVS)

A perinatologist is a physician who is highly trained to manage high-risk pregnancies – and can assess and diagnosis complex conditions. Our goals are to effectively prevent or correct a problem before delivery and aid in a successful birth. Our specialists also provide:

  • Preconception care, including genetic and infertility counseling
  • Antepartum diagnostics and home care program
  • Perinatal care designed to avoid being in the hospital as long as possible
  • Access to maternal and neonatal transport throughout the region by Careflight air or ground ambulance
Ultrasound

You can get an ultrasound of your unborn baby right here in Plaza 1. Experts conduct comfortable and quick imaging, so you can receive accurate results that help your doctor manage the health of both you and your baby.
