For most laboratory appointments, plan to arrive at 8 a.m. If you don't need to fast before your lab, arrive half an hour before your scheduled appointment.

Public Transportation Service

The Avera Creighton Hospital Transportation System is organized through the Transportation Coordinator’s office. Rides are provided Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., as well as by appointment on weekends. The program serves the residents of Antelope, Boyd, Cedar, Holt, Knox and Pierce counties in Nebraska. While preference is given to elderly and disabled persons, it is available to the general public as time, drivers and vehicle availability allow. Call 402-358-5734 or 402-340-0173 to schedule rides.
