About Me

Dr. Renae Ries completed her undergraduate education at the University of South Dakota in 1992. She then attended Pacific University College of Optometry and obtained her Doctorate of Optometry in 1996. Her training at Pacific University included an internship at Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City, Florida.

Dr. Renae started working at Heartland Eyecare Center in 1998 and became a co-owner with her husband, Dr. J.D. Ries, in 2001. She has been active in the optometric profession, including membership in the American Optometric Association, Minnesota Optometric Association, and Optometric Honor Society.
