Dr. John Faryna brings years of experience as an orthopedic spinal surgeon to Avera Orthopedics. From his residency at Mayo Clinic where he developed his passion for treating spinal diseases through his fellowship at the Spinal Institute of Arizona, he steadily advanced his skill and knowledge.

In addition to surgical approaches, Dr. Faryna works with his patients and may implement conservative measures like injections or physical therapy to address back pain or a lack of limberness. His depth of experience in minimally invasive procedures lets him address conditions you might face such as:
