Her specialized training in surgical procedures includes:

  • Electron-based intraoperative radiation therapy (IORT) – Includes radiation during surgery which may eliminate the need for additional radiation or shorten the course of radiation
  • Oncoplasty – Combines techniques for removing cancer along with plastic surgery methods to improve the appearance of breasts
  • Lumpectomy – Conserves the breasts while providing the same recurrence prevention as mastectomy
  • Nipple-sparing mastectomy – Preserves the nipple and skin of the breast for future reconstruction
  • Hidden Scar™ – Removes the tumor and a slight amount of surrounding tissue through a small incision

As a cancer patient, visiting Dr. Bryan is one of the most critical moments for me. She was the very first person who explained me the existence and consequences of my tumor, the treatment processes and all the options, risks and pros and cons of different approaches. Every time I've met with her, she was immensely clear, knowledgeable and comforting. I felt I was in good hands since that very first visit. At this stage of my treatment, I feel lucky to have her by my side. I trust her judgement without any doubt. I also appreciate the fact that she herself takes notes during our visit and shares them with me at the end of our visit, instead of me rushing to take notes as she speaks.
