Fitness Center Equipment
Our Avera therapy clinic not only offers a fully equipped center, but our patients also have access to the fitness equipment of the fitness center to support your rehabilitation program.
Aquatic Therapy
This Avera therapy clinic also offers aquatic therapy using the fitness center pool. Aquatic therapy is often utilized in rehabilitation when the patient cannot perform weight-bearing therapy activities. Water offers a gentle, but productive resistance to increase strength without unnecessary discomfort.
Fitness Center Changes
On Nov. 1, Avera announced that it will transition management of this fitness center operation to GreatLIFE Golf & Fitness Club effective Dec. 1, 2024. For the past 27 years, Power Wellness managed the fitness center. The facility’s new name will be Avera McKennan Fitness Center and GreatLIFE Golf & Fitness Club. This therapy clinic will continue to operate in this location.
