Schedule a Physician Appointment
Call our scheduling receptionist at 605-337-1501 to arrange a physician appointment. Tell us the reason for your visit so we can set up the right span of time. Once you schedule an appointment, plan to arrive 15 minutes early.
We offer many outreach specialty services, with visiting physicians in the specialties of audiology, cardiology, nephrology, orthopedics, podiatry, psychiatry, surgery, urology. For an appointment to see a visiting physician, call 605-337-1501.

Platte Health Center Avera was established in 1949 by the Platte community after a group of concerned individuals raised funds to purchase a former house and convert it to a hospital. An affiliate of Avera since 1998, Platte Health Center is managed by Avera Queen of Peace. With a tradition of service inspired by the Sisters of the Presentation and Benedictine Orders, Platte Health Center serves the health needs of south-central South Dakota and northern Nebraska with accessible, cost-effective care.
