Understanding your Newborn eClass is an alternate option for those who are unable to find an in-person class that works for them. The class can be done at home at your convenience. The eClass provides a variety of mediums to educate including text, animation, images, videos, printable PDFs and dozens of interactive exercises and engaging activities. The registration fee for this class is $40. This class does not cover labor, delivery or breastfeeding in depth so we encourage you to take these classes separately, understanding birth and breastfeeding are also available as on-line classes.
Once you register for this class you will receive an email within three business days with your access code, you will have 9 months to complete your on-line class. When you are finished we encourage you to email the Childbirth Education Coordinator with any questions and register for a free tour of Avera McKennan women's center.
