ACL Injury Prevention Program - $50

Sports Screen

When: By appointment only, 30-minute session, Avera Therapy, Gregory

Purpose: Opportunity for local athletes to have their athletic injury evaluated, free of charge, by a certified athletic trainer

Target Audience: Area middle school andhigh school athletes

Cost: FREE to area athletes

Form Check

When: By appointment only, one 1–2 hour session or individual/small groups, Gregory Memorial Auditorium

Purpose: Sessions look at athlete’s ability to perform basic movements effectively, as well as evaluate form and safety while working through major lifts

Target Audience: High school and adult individuals looking to improve lifting form and identify areas that may need improvement

Cost: FREE to area athletes

ACL Injury Prevention Program

When: 9–10:30 a.m., Mondays and Thursdays, June 3–June 27 (4 weeks), Gregory High School Gym (first week) and Gregory Memorial Auditorium (last three weeks)

Purpose: Learn factors involved with ACL injury and participate in an injury prevention program

Target Audience: High school and middle school athletes, limited to 20 athletes Cost: $50

Runner’s Clinic

When: 9–10 a.m., Mondays and Thursdays, July 8–Aug. 1 (4 weeks), Gregory Memorial Auditorium (first week) and Gregory Track/Mike Dacy Field (last three weeks)

Purpose: Learn important factors that influence injury and running success, and participate in injury prevention program

Target Audience: High school and middle school athletes looking to lower risk of running-related injuries and improve form, limited to 20 athletes

Cost: $50
